Oh Ship! Builds More Durable POS Checkout Using Beetronics Industrial Touchscreens

Claymont, United States - November 7, 2026 / Beetronics Inc. /

Oh Ship!, a technology-driven shipping and business services retailer based in Tamarac, Florida, has standardized on Beetronics touchscreen monitors for its front-counter point-of-sale (POS) operations, replacing displays that could not withstand the demands of daily commercial use.

The setup pairs a Beetronics 22TS7M 22 inch touchscreen for associates with a Beetronics 12TS7 12 inch touchscreen for customers, placing a dedicated interactive display on each side of the checkout counter.

Oh Ship! offers shipping, printing, mailbox, notary, and related business services. The front counter serves as the central point for package processing, transactions, and customer requests, making consistent touchscreen performance a practical requirement for day-to-day operations.

Prior to adopting Beetronics, the company sourced displays from other vendors but encountered durability problems that ultimately required those screens to be removed and replaced. Given the frequency with which displays are used throughout the business day, Oh Ship! sought hardware better suited to the conditions of a high-traffic retail environment.

The company selected two Beetronics models to address the distinct requirements of its associate and customer-facing workstations.

The 22TS7M serves as the primary associate POS display. Its 22-inch screen gives staff a spacious interface for navigating shipping and transaction software while attending to customers across the counter.

On the opposite side, the 12TS7 functions as a dedicated customer-facing touchscreen. Its 12-inch format allows customers to interact with the checkout interface directly while keeping the counter clear for packages, payment equipment, and other hardware.

Both displays are constructed for continuous operation and repeated touch interaction. Industrial-grade build quality, impact-resistant tempered glass front panels, and projected capacitive touch technology make them suited to commercial settings where screens are accessed frequently by both employees and customers throughout the day.

"We first bought screens from other vendors, but the quality didn't hold up to daily commercial use, and we had to pull them out and replace them. Since switching to Beetronics, the displays have been noticeably better built and more reliable. That matters enormously when a screen runs all day and customers rely on it. That reliability is why we standardized on Beetronics displays at the counter," said Keenan Singh, Owner of Oh Ship!

The installation shows how POS touchscreen monitors can serve distinct functions within the same retail environment. By separating the associate workstation from the customer-facing display, Oh Ship! gives each user a dedicated interface matched to their role in the transaction process.

The larger associate display supports shipping and POS workflows throughout the day, while the smaller customer touchscreen provides a separate interaction point without consuming unnecessary counter space. Deploying two different screen sizes from within the same Beetronics product range also allows the company to maintain a consistent hardware platform across its checkout area.

For Oh Ship!, the move to Beetronics has resolved the durability concerns associated with its previous displays and established a more dependable touchscreen configuration for ongoing retail operations.

The deployment reflects how commercial touchscreen technology can be integrated across both operator workstations and customer-facing checkout systems, giving retailers the flexibility to configure displays for frequent, sustained use. Learn more about Beetronics touchscreen monitors.
